Sozopol which is 30km south of the city of Bourgas and around 40km from Bourgas International airport has a historic old town dating back to 610 A.D. and a modern and vibrant new town area. The old town has traditional wooden houses and many small restaurants, some right by the harbour, where you can watch the fishermen land their catch. There is also an international yacht marina close by.

Bizantium, with a total build area of 3,000 sq metres, is built on a headland just 50 metres from the sea, and very close to the fantastic Golden Fish beach, which less than 10 minutes walk away. Most apartments have fantastic sea views.. The project is an apartment-hotel with restricted access for external visitors and with 24-hour security to ensure the relaxation and recreation of all clients. The interior and exterior looks of the building are designed to be in early Byzantine Basilica style, where the name of complex comes from.

Bizantium consists of a ground floor, two further floors and a penthouse. Bizantium has only 24 apartments which are of an average size of 80 sq metres. The facilities include, reception desk, restaurant, Roman bath, fitness centre and swimming pool for adults and children. The reception desk and the restaurant are situated on the ground floor. The Roman bath has been constructed in the original Oriental style with a high ceiling. There is also a housekeeping office on each floor, and two elevators.
